Leben Osaka Uehommachi Praise is a 15-storey residential development in Uehonmachinishi, Chuo Ward, Osaka. Jointly developed by Takara Leben and Sanko Real Estate, it comprises 70 residences ranging from 1LDK to 3LDK, with internal areas from 34.45 sq m to 76.92 sq m, or approximately 371 to 828 sq ft. Of the 70 homes, 56 are corner units, giving the development a notably high corner-unit ratio of 80%. Completion is scheduled for mid-May 2027, with handover expected in late June 2027.
A Central Osaka Location
The development occupies a strategic position on the Uemachi Plateau, placing residents within easy reach of Osaka’s principal commercial, entertainment and cultural districts. Its central location allows residents to move conveniently between Namba, Tennoji, Umeda and the wider Osaka metropolitan area, while retaining the more established residential character traditionally associated with Uehommachi.
Two Stations Within a Two-Minute Walk
Osaka Metro’s Tanimachi 9-chome Station and Kintetsu’s Osaka-Uehommachi Station are both approximately a two-minute walk away, providing access to five railway lines across two stations. From Tanimachi 9-chome Station, Namba and Tennoji are each about three minutes away by train, while Higashi-Umeda is about 11 minutes away directly. Airport limousine buses from Osaka-Uehommachi also provide convenient connections to Kansai International Airport and Osaka International Airport.
Everyday Conveniences Around Osaka-Uehommachi
Shopping, dining and daily necessities are concentrated around the nearby station precinct. Uehommachi HiHi Town is approximately 230 metres away, Kintetsu Department Store Uehommachi is about 250 metres away, and Uehommachi YUFURA is approximately 360 metres from the development. Together, these destinations provide supermarkets, restaurants, retail shops, services and entertainment within comfortable walking distance. The Kintetsu Group is also considering a broader redevelopment of the Osaka-Uehommachi station area from 2030 onwards, although the proposal remains subject to future confirmation and change.
The Heritage of the Uemachi Plateau
Uehommachi forms part of the historic Uemachi Plateau, an elevated area that has played an important role in Osaka’s development over many centuries. The surrounding district combines established residential streets with temples, shrines, parks and cultural landmarks. Ikukunitama Shrine is approximately 800 metres away, while Sanadayama Park is about 880 metres from the development. This setting gives residents a quieter historical and cultural backdrop despite the project’s proximity to major city-centre destinations.
Contemporary Architecture With Japanese Influences
The architecture combines a restrained monochrome palette with textured surfaces, strong horizontal balcony lines and carefully proportioned vertical elements. The intention is to create a contemporary urban residence that still acknowledges the dignity and traditions of the Uemachi Plateau. The design was developed by Kenichiro Ikeda of We+F Vision, whose approach places equal emphasis on visual character, material quality and the experience of arriving home.
The entrance hall continues this design language with stone-inspired finishes, warm lighting, metallic details and a feature ceiling influenced by traditional Japanese patterns. A framed view towards the landscaped garden softens the interior and creates a calm transition from the surrounding city into the residential environment.

Residences Designed for Different Household Sizes
The development offers five principal layouts. Type B is a 34.45 sq m 1LDK with a shoe-in closet, while Type A provides a larger 48.32 sq m 1LDK with a service room and shoe-in closet.
Type E is a 50.52 sq m 2LDK with a walk-in closet and shoe-in closet.
Type C measures 53.77 sq m and is designated as a 1LDK with a service room on Levels 2 to 11 and a 2LDK on Levels 12 to 15.
The largest Type D measures 76.92 sq m and provides three bedrooms, three walk-in closets and a shoe-in closet. In Japanese floor-plan terminology, LDK refers to the combined living, dining and kitchen programme, while WIC and SIC refer to walk-in and shoe-in closets respectively.
The Type D model residence demonstrates the design potential of the larger family layout. Its living and dining space opens towards the balcony, while the open kitchen maintains a strong visual connection with the communal area. The arrangement creates a generous setting for everyday family life and entertaining, with the bedrooms positioned away from the main living zone for greater privacy.
Well-Equipped Kitchens and Bathrooms
The kitchens feature a glass-top gas hob, built-in dishwasher, low-noise sink, integrated water-purifying tap, Fiorestone worktop, and soft-closing sliding storage. Other comfort features include gas-powered floor heating in the living and dining area, bathroom ventilation with heating and drying functions, a low-entry bathtub and a bathroom television. Specifications and dimensions vary by selected unit type.
The development also incorporates Takara Leben’s water-related features. The Takara no Mizu system filters water supplied throughout the residence, while the Mirabath Vision microbubble bath system and Mirable Zero shower head are intended to enhance everyday bathing and personal-care routines. Cartridge replacement and certain components may be subject to separate charges.
Practical Storage and Flexible Rooms
Storage has been integrated throughout the different layouts, with every type providing a shoe-in closet near the entrance. Selected homes also include service rooms and walk-in wardrobes, while Type D provides three walk-in closets. Types D and E incorporate movable wall-door arrangements that allow an adjoining room to open toward the living area when a larger communal space is preferred, or close off as a bedroom, study, or private room when needed.
Security and Everyday Convenience
Security provisions include an automated entrance-lock system, video intercoms, RACCESS contactless entry, double-lock entrance doors and 24-hour remote monitoring by SECOM. Parcel lockers allow residents to receive deliveries while away from home, and the building is also planned with high-speed fibre connectivity. Pets are permitted, subject to the development’s rules on their type, size, and number.
Who May Find This Development Suitable?
The smaller Type B and Type A residences may appeal to singles, couples and buyers seeking a centrally located Osaka base. Types C and E provide an additional room for couples, small households or residents who require a dedicated study, while the 76.92 sq m Type D offers the strongest family configuration. Across the development, the combination of two nearby stations, an 80% corner-unit ratio, established neighbourhood amenities and a choice of layouts gives LEBEN OSAKA UEHOMMACHI PRAISE broad appeal for both owner-occupation and longer-term property ownership in central Osaka.
