About Queens
Royal Pedigree
Queens Condominium is a unique offer in one respect and a wise investment choice in another.
Most new private properties, especially condominiums, offered on the market in recent years have been located in the newer, and often outlying districts of Singapore. Queens is unique in the context of the private residential market today because it is situated in Queenstown, a mature estate. At the fringe of the Central Business District and vibrant Orchard Road shopping belt, Queens is conveniently located next to an MRT Station, and a most important consideration for most parents, close to many good schools, colleges, polytechnics and the National University of Singapore. This makes Queens a rare gem on the property market today.
Apart from its choice of location, Queens has the pedigree of being a development of Allgreen Properties Limited – a name synonymous with excellence in quality, design, uncompromising standards of construction, luxury, and value. Allgreen is one of Singapore’s largest property groups, with 32 subsidiaries and nine associated companies. The Group boasts a quality portfolio of residential, commercial and retail properties, including Great World City, their wholly-owned flagship; Tanglin Mall; Traders Hotel and Great World Serviced Apartments.
Allgreen’s brilliant track record is a market fact. And its successful track record shows strong take-up rates for its projects: Evergreen Park, Summer Gardens, Eastwood Ville, Claremont, Pavilion Park Phase 1A, Horizon Green, Horizon Gardens and Binjai Crest. Like Allgreen’s other bestsellers, Queens is a good option to consider, both as an investment property or as a long-term residence.
Past, Present & Future Perfect
Queenstown was the birthplace, so to speak, of public housing in Singapore. In 1953, the attap huts, farms, and a British military camp that occupied the district were cleared, and Singapore Improvement Trust (SIT) flats were built. Queenstown housing estate became Singapore’s first satellite town.
Today, historic Queenstown is one of Singapore’s most vibrant and conveniently located housing districts. It is well served by bus and MRT and within 20 minutes of the city and Orchard Road. The institutions of higher learning, such as NUS, Singapore Polytechnic and Ngee Arm Polytechnic, are also nearby and easily accessible.
A Master Plan proposal also provides for schools (10 primary and 8 secondary), religious buildings and community facilities to be built. Several roads, including Queensway, Clementi Road and West Coast Highway, will be upgraded to semi-expressways to improve traffic flow within Queenstown. Also in the works is a medical park at Bukit Merah. Open spaces within the planning area range from regional parks, like Kent Ridge Park, West Coast Park and Labrador Park, to neighbourhood areas of green. The green park connector from Kent Ridge Park to Telok Blangah Hill Park is a key proposal. This will form a green linkage along the southern coast of Singapore, stretching from Kent Ridge to Mount Faber.
What’s more, major and exciting development plans are in store for Queenstown, like the Buona Vista Sub-Regional Centre, which will be developed over the next few years.
Located next to the Buona Vista MRT Station, one-north will be a vibrant place and the lifestyle choice for the most creative minds of the new economy. A small piece of Singapore with a big part in shaping the future. It aims to create a ‘happening’ mix of commercial, residential and recreational environments and be the hub of the Queenstown area.
It is easy to see why, in the coming years, Queenstown will be one of the most desirable places to live in Singapore.
The Jewel In The Crown
Queens is a majestic visual spectacle: three streamlined towers, Hampton, Buckingham and Windsor, soar thirty eight storeys against a shifting curtain of sky and clouds. Its stunning appearance is but one of its many assets. Location is another.
From its Stirling Road address, the Central Business District, Orchard Road, AYE and PIE are mere minutes away. The Queenstown MRT Station is virtually at your doorstep. Several established schools, shopping centres, and recreational facilities are short distances away and easily reached by public transport. In the convenience of its location, Queens is indeed royally endowed.
Queens, the new condominium development by Allgreen Properties, sits on a site area of approximately 236,000 square feet, with total accommodation for 722 luxurious units. A wide range of homeowners’ needs, preferences and budgets is catered for in the unit composition. Standard units comprise of 2-, 3-, and 4-bedroom apartments, with floor areas of 914 to 1,410 square feet. The apartments receive an abundance of natural light and fresh breeze. The large full-height windows which grace the living area present breathtaking views. Penthouse units of 4-and 5-bedrooms have areas of 2,206 to 2,723 square feet. Each penthouse comes with its own private rooftop terrace and jacuzzi that will impress business associates, and thrill family and friends. Rising to 38-storeys up in the sky, you’ll literally be closer to the stars, and have a bonus view of city lights below, sparking like jewels in a crown.
A Tropical Paradise
Imagine unwinding, relaxing and recharging your batteries in an oasis where water meanders through a tropical garden. Imagine your children’s laughter as they delight in the spray of water jets. Imagine having the luxury and convenience of a country club right at your doorstep. Imagine being located so centrally in Singapore that you’ll spend less time travelling to and from work, and more time enjoying your private Shangri-la.
Well, imagine no more. At Queens, this is the lifestyle you could lead.
Take a little time to browse through the next few pages and you’ll agree that living at Queens feels like being on holiday all year round – but in your own home.
Water Therapy
To many Asians, water – and in particular, moving water such as waterfalls and fountains – represents wealth, and is believed to bestow luck and fortune on those who live near it. Throughout the property, meandering swimming pools, tumbling waterfalls, water arches and rain curtains have cleverly been blended with the exotic tropical garden of heliconias, bougainvillas, hisbiscus, and palm trees.
The sight and sound of water is therapy enough! Cascading water features located at the entrance of Queens Court, the clubhouse, welcome you to the property. Gurgling water greet you at the car drop-off points at Hampton and Windsor; the latter block has the addition of a pond full of graceful kois.
The most interesting water feature is the Fun Pool that’s shaped like a lazy river. A series of arching jets mark the deeper end of the pool, while a little island at the far end boasts a circular fountain of jets of water popping up at regular intervals like a mesmerising water dance. You can bet that the children will need little invitation to play in it. A separate shallow pool, just in front of Windsor has been designed for even younger children to happily splash about.
The piece de resistance, however, is the main swimming pool, bordered by the three blocks. This refreshing oasis can be admired from the pool-facing apartment units, the gardens on top of the carpark and clubhouse, and even from the gym.
The focal point is a 4 metre tall waterfall that creates a transparent backdrop between the entrance of the centre block, Buckingham, and the pool. On either side of the waterfall is a jacuzzi pavilion, capped by a crown, and encircled by columns which open to the sky. A sculpture of a crane – in Asia, revered as a harbinger of good luck, longevity and matrimonial bliss – takes centrestage in each pavilion. A rain curtain adds a bit of privacy between the main pool and the jacuzzi where bubbling jets soothe your body, and the sibilance of the rain curtain lulls you into a state of bliss. Two sets of arching jets on the other side of the pool add drama to the waterscape. Like the jets in the Fun Pool, it’s fun to swim under them, or have them massage your back and shoulders.
Tell your friends and their children to bring their swimsuits, because you’ll be BBQ-ing by the poolside almost every other weekend. A total of six BBQ pavilions are located by the main pool, in clusters of three next to each jacuzzi. The BBQ pavilions are thoughtfully spaced apart, yet close enough should you require more space to accomodate a larger party. The landscaped rooftop of the clubhouse, Queens Court, also features two BBQ areas. The rooftop overlooks the swimming pool and is a most idyllic location for sipping cocktails at dusk. The clubhouse also has a reading room, two indoor funtion rooms to hold birthday parities and other events in air-conditioned comfort, and an indoor badminton court.
In the event that you want to check your email, or stay in touch with the office while enjoying the sun, wireless Internet access is provided at the pool deck. Just bring your laptop.
Country Club Facilities At Your Doorstep
Fitness facilities at Queens cater to a diversity of sporting interests .There’s something for the older and younger members of the family, and everyone else in between. Attractive, fun, and located right at your doorstep, there’s no better motivation to enjoy a healthy lifestyle.
The swimming pool – 50m across at its longest point – is large enough to do some serious laps, yet pretty enough to think of as your private blue lagoon. An indoor badminton court and a gym with state-of-the-art exercise equipment are located within the clubhouse, Queens Court. Housed on the ground floor, the gym has an inspiring view of the swimming pool.
Most of the sports facilities are conveniently clustered in the south-eastern corner of the condo. These include: a half-sized basketball court where you can shoot some hoops: and a fitness station where you can get in shape and enjoy the outdoors. At the playground of colourful equipment, the ones can build their climbing skills and confidence, but most of all, have fun socialising with their young neighbours.
If your’re a golfer, you can improve your swing at the mini driving range, or sink a few holes at the putting green before your next game. In the event that the weather’s too hot or too wet, head for the covered putting green below Windsor. After honing your golfing skills at Queens, now it’s time to go public!
Clubs like Keppel Club, NUS Guild House and Temasek Club, are a short drive away. But if you’re looking for one that doesn’t tie you down with membership fees, check out Queens Town Club at Margaret Drive; Transview Golf and Country Club, where Warren Club was once located, and Tanglin Sports Complex opposite the Botanic Gardens. The 7-hole Tanglin Golf Course (all Par 3), is an ideal course for those new to the game, or experienced golfers looking for a short game. If your young one aspires to be the next Tiger Woods, sign him up for their junior golf programmes offered by the 9-hole Transview Golf and Country Club, and the driving range at Queens Town Club.
Two tennis courts are located within the split-level garden above the multi-storey carpark. The surrounding gardens, ideal for reading a good book, enjoying some quiet contemplation, or practising tai-chi, are particularly alluring at dawn or at sundown.
Should you want to lace up your jogging shoes without having to leave the compound, Queens lush landscaped is equivalent to a 600m track. If you prefer a more competitive environment, the Queenstown Sports Stadium is literally a stone’s throw away, so that evening jog won’t be spent weaving through traffic.

Gear up for your new sporting lifestyle at Queensway Shopping Centre. In addition to a maze of sports stores known for their low prices, the shopping centre is chock-ablock with in-your-face streetwear shops that feature edgy yet affordable clothes, and optical shops with a vast and varied selection of shades and frames.

Little Italy is over at Chip Bee Gardens, should you hanker for pizza and pasta; and if you’re vegetarian, the menu at Original Sin anything but boring.
You may not think that McDonald’s counts as gourmet, but if your kids do, the most pleasant outlet on the island overlooks a pond in the Japanese inspired Ridout Gardens along Queensway. As junior tucks into his happy meal, the two of you can take a break among the cool bamboo and the bonsai, or browse for plants for your new home at the flower nursery. A happy compromise.

The Focus Of Domesticity
An attractive plus at Queens is the inclusion of the utility room, which may be used as a storeroom or as accomodation for the domestic help. At Queens, the same careful thought in design and attention to detail is lavished on the utility areas as on the living areas, making the most mundane task more pleasant to perform – and it not exactly a delight, that less of a chore.
For Rest & Retreat
Colours are drawn from a soothing neutral palette once more. In the bedrooms, bay windows open to the world outside. Bay windows are both a decorative feature and a versatile space.
Generous built-in wardrobes cater to all your storage needs, all this transforming the bedroom into a comfortable private sanctuary that invites retreat at the end of a long day.
Simple Pleasures, The Joy Of Rejuvenation
Luxury, beauty and practicality are the key harmonies in the Queens bathroom. Finished in marble tiles, and featuring granite/marble vanity tops and the finest quality sanitary fittings, the bathrooms are indeed one of the showpieces of the condominium.
The pockets of storage space that have been cleverly intergated into the unit’s layout are most evident in the bathroom – in the mirror cabinets, vanity shelves and shower shelves. In the thoughtful provision of space-enhancing devices like these and the finesse of its detailing – as exemplified by the wall-mounted hair dryer in the Masterbath – the bathrooms display the pinnacle of refinement that makes Queens a unique development.
