Mel O’Callaghan is a distinguished contemporary artist from Australia known for her work across moving image, painting, performance, and sculpture. Through her captivating large-scale installations, she creates ritualised spaces of spectacle and introspection, guiding performers and audiences through transformative thresholds Her art has graced prestigious institutions worldwide, including the Centre Pompidou, Palais de Tokyo, National Gallery of Victoria, and Carriageworks, leaving a lasting impression on all who enter her immersive and profound artistic realms. She lives and works in Paris, France and Sydney, Australia..
