This place isn't just bad—it's an absolute hellhole that will drain your money, ruin your peace, and leave you regretting every second you spend inside it. I've lived in plenty of rentals, but nothing comes close to the sheer misery this apartment inflicted on me. It's horribly maintained, dangerously faulty, and owned by one of the most deceitful, greedy landlords you'll ever encounter. Read this review, believe every word, and save yourself the agony—do NOT rent here.
Let's start with the noise. This isn't ordinary city buzz; it's relentless, soul-crushing torture 24/7. The unit 07-13 sits smack in the middle of non-stop eateries and heavy traffic, turning your days into a chaotic symphony of heavy vehicle, noisy eatery crowd, and clattering utensils. But the real killer is nighttime. Sleep? Forget it. The eateries never close, the traffic never stops, and the cacophony echoes straight into your bedroom until dawn. You'll wake up exhausted, irritable, and counting the days until your lease ends. If you value even a shred of quiet or sanity, this place will destroy it.
The condition of the unit itself is criminal negligence. Electrical wiring has zero proper earthing—it's a death trap waiting to happen. I personally lost a TV to a surge, and multiple bulbs blew out. Imagine plugging in your laptop or phone and wondering if today's the day something fries.
Walls are plagued with severe seepage and moisture everywhere. how is right below the rooftop swimming pool waiting for severe water damage and the wooden wardrobe? Completely ruined from the inside—clothes reeking of damp rot, wood warped and splintered. You can't store anything without it getting destroyed. i have to constantly use moisture absorber across all corners of house.
The air conditioners? Both are ancient, wheezing relics in horrific shape. They barely cool, rattle like they're about to explode, and desperately need immediate replacement. In peak summer, you'll sweat through your clothes while these junk units struggle and fail.
The water geyser leaks constantly—puddles on the bathroom floor, wasted water, and the constant risk of a bigger flood. Furniture is third-rate garbage: cheap particle board that scratches and chips at the slightest touch, cushions that sag instantly, and finishes that peel off in weeks.
And dust? It's a nightmare. Open the balcony for just ten minutes, and the entire flat is coated in a thick layer of grime. No amount of cleaning helps; the location ensures you're breathing filth every day.
But the absolute worst part? The owner. This woman is a shrewd, manipulative nightmare who hides behind her phone and agent, never once showing her face or having the decency to meet tenants. She piles on ridiculous condition after condition, all designed to squeeze every last $ out of you while giving nothing back. In the name of "goodwill," she'll promise things that never happen, then deceive you with excuses. Her agent (Desmond Tan @ ERA) is no better—a blatant liar who'll look you in the eye and fabricate stories to defend her outrageous, unfair demands. You'll beg for basic rights, and they'll twist it into you owing them more. It's predatory, exploitative behavior that makes you feel trapped and powerless.
To top it all off, there's zero proper management. The building's day guard is aggressively rude, nosy, and confrontational—interrogating visitors, making snide comments, and acting like he owns the place. No security, no helpfulness, just unnecessary hostility that adds to the daily stress.
This apartment isn't a home; it's a money pit disguised as living space. You'll spend thousands on replacements, repairs the owner refuses to cover, Your mental health will tank from the noise and constant battles.
Do yourself a massive favor: walk away. There are better options out there that won't sabotage your life.
