Residential Site At Serangoon North Avenue Now Available On Reserve List
The Urban Redevelopment Authority(URA) has made available a residential site at Serangoon North Avenue 1 on the reserve list on 27th October 2016. This residential land parcel is one of the seven residential sites on the reserve list under the Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme this 2nd half of 2016. The final land parcel at Toh Tuck Road will be made available sometime this month.
The land parcel at Serangoon North Avenue 1 has a site area of 17,1891.1 sqm with a maximum gross floor area of 42,973 sqm. Interestingly enough, although the maximum gross floor area can yield 505 residential units, the maximum building height of the entire project is limited to 2-storeys. Based on the requirements set by URA, the redevelopment could either see apartments, condominiums, or a combination of strata-landed houses with apartment units being built.
The exact location of the site is at the previous Montfort Secondary School. As such, future residents could enjoy a broad range of amenities at Chomp Chomp Food Centre and Serangoon Garden Market.
