Hudson Place Residences Launch Results: 2-Bedroom Units Lead Demand as Buyers Favour Practical Layouts and Strong Facings
Hudson Place Residences opened for booking on 16 May 2026, and the latest updated balance-unit chart (as of 17th May 2026) provides a clear early indication of buyer preferences. Demand was strongest in the 2-bedroom segment, led by the 2-Bedroom Premium units with 71 sold, followed by the 2-Bedroom Premium + Study units with 56 sold. The 3-bedroom units also saw strong interest, while pool-facing 4-bedroom Premium layouts drew notable buyer interest.
The strongest story from the launch is not just how many units were taken up, but which unit types and facings buyers gravitated toward.
Overall sales performance
197 units were sold across Blocks 18 and 20, representing 60% of the entire development.
Block 18 performed exceptionally strongly, with about 105 units marked sold. It was almost fully taken up, with only a small number of units left, mainly selected 4-bedroom stacks, one 2-bedroom unit and a penthouse.
Block 20 recorded 92 units sold, with demand mainly concentrated on the lower to mid floors, particularly among the 2-Bedroom and 2-Bedroom Premium + Study stacks.
This suggests that buyers were more decisive on practical, investment-friendly layouts, particularly the smaller and mid-sized units.

The most popular unit types
The strongest-selling unit type was the B3 2-Bedroom Premium + Study in Block 20, partly because it had the largest number of units released for sale. Among these, Stack 10 recorded the highest take-up, outperforming the outward-facing Stacks 13 and 14, making it the standout performer within this unit category.
The other 2-Bedroom Premium units also performed very well:
| Unit Type | Category | Location |
|---|---|---|
| B1a (21/35 Sold) | 2-Bedroom Premium | Block 18 Stack 08 & Block 20 Stack 09 |
| B1b (29/35 sold) | 2-Bedroom Premium | Block 18 Stack 04 & Block 20 Stack 15 |
| B1c (14/14 sold) | 2-Bedroom Premium | Block 18 Stack 05 (100% Sold) |
| B1d (9/21 sold) | 2-Bedroom Premium | Block 20 Stack 18 |
| B2 (13/13 sold) | 2-Bedroom Premium + Study | Block 18 Stack 01 (100% Sold) |
| 2-Bedroom Premium + Study | Block 20 Stacks 10, 13 and 14 |
The key takeaway is that buyers favoured compact, functional layouts with study options. For both homeowners and investors, this is unsurprising: a 2-bedroom plus study gives flexibility for work-from-home needs, a small family, or rental appeal without moving into the higher price quantum of a larger 3- or 4-bedroom unit.
Strongest-selling facings
The site map highlights two important external outlooks:
- The upper side facing Bloomsbury Residences
- The lower side facing Infinite Studios, a 10-storey media hub building
With demand coming from both internal and external-facing units, this suggests that buyers were receptive to practical layouts and selected facings.
1. Bloomsbury-facing side: strong demand for Block 20 2-bedroom types
In Block 20, some of the best-performing stacks are on the north-east facing side of the block, with units facing Bloomsbury Residences.
The most notable performers were:
- B3 units in Stack 14
- B1b units in Stack 15
- C4 units in Stack 12
These stacks saw strong take-up, especially from the lower to mid floors. The B3 2-Bedroom Premium + Study units were especially popular, reinforcing the appeal of a flexible 2-bedroom-plus-study layout.
For investors, this is important because the B3 layout appears to have attracted broad demand. For homeowners, the popularity suggests buyers valued the balance of size, flexibility and outlook.
2. Infinite Studios / Media Hub-facing side: strong take-up in Block 18
Block 18 was the clear outperformer by percentage sold. Stacks 03, 04, 05 and 06, which face southwest towards Infinite Studios, a 10-storey media hub, were completely sold out.
These were:
- C2 3-Bedroom Premium in Stack 03
- B1b 2-Bedroom Premium in Stack 04
- B1c 2-Bedroom Premium in Stack 05
- C1 3-Bedroom Deluxe in Stack 06
The full sell-out of these stacks shows that buyers were not deterred by the Infinite Studios/media hub-facing side. In fact, some of the strongest take-up came from this part of Block 18.
For homeowners, this is a meaningful signal. A facing that may have appeared more commercial on the site map still achieved strong market acceptance, likely because buyers placed greater emphasis on layout efficiency, pricing, stack location, and the project’s overall appeal.
What this means for homeowners
For own-stay buyers, the launch results suggest that demand was strongest for layouts that offer day-to-day flexibility. The 2-bedroom and 2-bedroom-plus-study units were clearly popular, but well-positioned 3-bedroom layouts in Block 18 also moved quickly.
The strong take-up of Block 18 also indicates that buyers were comfortable with its position within the development, including units facing Infinite Studios and the media hub building.
What this means for investors
For investors, the data points to a clear preference for smaller, more rentable unit types. The standout was the B3 2-Bedroom Premium + Study in Block 20, which saw strong take-up, particularly in Stacks 10 and 14.
The study area is likely a key advantage, offering tenants or future buyers additional functional space without the price tag of a full 3-bedroom unit. This can enhance both rental appeal and resale liquidity.
By contrast, the market appeared more cautious toward larger 4-bedroom and penthouse units, with only three 4-Bedroom Suite + Flexi units taken up.
Final thoughts
The launch results for Hudson Place Residences show a clear preference for practical, flexible layouts, especially in the 2-bedroom segment. With 197 units sold, representing 60% of the development, buyer confidence was evident across both Blocks 18 and 20. The strong take-up of 2-Bedroom Premium, 2-Bedroom Premium + Study, and selected 3-bedroom units suggests that purchasers were focused on liveability, efficient space planning and long-term resale or rental appeal. At the same time, the sell-out of several Infinite Studios-facing stacks in Block 18 shows that buyers were willing to look beyond facing alone when the overall value proposition was compelling.
