Explore Goodman Arts Centre Through an Interactive Artventure Stamp Rally
Goodman Arts Centre Artventure offers visitors a fun and interactive way to explore one of Singapore’s most established creative spaces. Instead of following a fixed guided tour, the experience invites visitors to wander freely through the campus, collect stamps, discover public artworks, learn about the site’s history and enjoy the many green spaces, studios and landmarks found across the centre.
What Is the Goodman Arts Centre Artventure?
The Goodman Arts Centre Artventure is a self-guided trail designed to encourage visitors to explore the campus at their own pace. It combines art, architecture, heritage, and discovery into a single accessible experience, making it suitable for families, art lovers, students, photographers, and first-time visitors.
The programme includes several themed trails, such as The Curious Wanderer stamp rally, The Art Explorer public art trail, and The Time Discoverer heritage trail. Together, they help visitors experience Goodman Arts Centre not just as a collection of buildings, but as a living creative enclave filled with stories, artworks and community spaces.
The Curious Wanderer Stamp Rally
The main highlight is The Curious Wanderer, a six-stamp rally that encourages visitors to explore different corners of Goodman Arts Centre. There is no fixed route, allowing participants to move around freely while discovering the campus in their own way.
The stamp stations are spread across key locations such as Block O, Block M, Block A, Block C and Block B. Each stop brings visitors to a different part of the arts centre, making the rally both a game and a walking tour. By the end of the journey, participants would have experienced many of the campus’ most interesting architectural, artistic and communal spaces.
Starting at Block O
Block O is one of the most distinctive buildings in Goodman Arts Centre and serves as a memorable starting point for the trail. Built from 30 repurposed shipping containers, the building showcases how industrial materials can be transformed into a creative and sustainable arts space.

Its central courtyard, upper-level walkways and open communal areas create an inviting environment for artists and visitors. The Level 2 stamp station encourages participants to explore the building beyond its entrance and appreciate its unique modular design, natural ventilation and industrial character.

Exploring Block M’s Heritage Spaces
The trail continues through Block M, a heritage building that once formed part of the School of the Arts’ temporary campus. Today, it houses arts organisations, studios and creative practitioners while retaining much of its original institutional character.

The mezzanine and Level 2 stamp points encourage visitors to walk through its naturally ventilated corridors, timber louvre screens and quiet studio areas. This part of the rally gives visitors a closer look at how former school spaces have been adapted into active creative environments.

Café Melba at Block N
Located beside Block M, Café Melba is a popular dining destination at Goodman Arts Centre, offering a relaxed café experience amid the creative surroundings of the arts enclave. Known for its Melbourne-inspired café culture, the restaurant serves an extensive menu of all-day breakfasts, gourmet pizzas, burgers, pasta, desserts and speciality coffee. With both indoor and alfresco seating overlooking the open lawns, Café Melba is a favourite gathering place for artists, families, students and visitors. Whether you’re taking a break during the Goodman Arts Centre Artventure, meeting friends after exploring the campus, or simply enjoying a leisurely meal, the café provides a welcoming space to relax and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of Singapore’s largest arts enclave.

Discovering Block A and the Campus Notice Board
At Block A, visitors will find another stamp station near the “What’s On the Calendar” notice board. This area serves as both a rally checkpoint and an information hub, where visitors can browse upcoming exhibitions, performances, workshops and community activities.

Its central location makes it a useful point of orientation before continuing deeper into the campus. It also reinforces the idea that Goodman Arts Centre is not just a place to visit, but an active arts community with programmes happening throughout the year.

Resting at Block C and Collecting Stamps 4 and 5
Right beside Block C, the stamp rally brings visitors to a sheltered seating area with communal benches and tables. This is one of the most comfortable rest points along the trail, allowing participants to take a short break before continuing their journey.

Stamp Rally Stations 4 and 5 are located near the benches, making this stop especially convenient. In this area, visitors can also enjoy views of the sculpture lawn, Block C’s modern gym, the surrounding heritage buildings, and the iconic curved form of Block B.

Ending at the Iconic Block B
Block B is one of the most recognisable landmarks at Goodman Arts Centre, known for its sweeping curved façade and elevated open-air corridors. The rally brings visitors to both Level 3 and Level 5, encouraging them to explore the building vertically and enjoy different perspectives of the campus.

From Level 5, visitors can take in panoramic views of Goodman Arts Centre, including the amphitheatre, sculpture lawn, courtyards and surrounding greenery. The colourful wall mural on Level 5 adds another artistic highlight to the experience, making Block B one of the most rewarding stops on the trail.

Public Art, Sculptures and Murals Along the Way
Beyond the stamp stations, the Artventure introduces visitors to a wide range of public artworks across the campus. These include murals, sculptures, painted-ground artworks, and creative installations that appear naturally along the walking route.

The sculpture garden near Block B and Block E is especially memorable, with artworks placed within the landscaped lawn. These outdoor pieces turn the campus into an open-air gallery, allowing visitors to encounter art casually as they move between buildings.

Discovering the History of Goodman Arts Centre
The Time Discoverer trail adds a historical layer to the visit. Goodman Arts Centre was formerly part of a school campus and has served different educational and creative uses over the years, including as a temporary campus for LASALLE and SOTA.

Through noticeboards and heritage markers, visitors can learn how the site evolved from classrooms and sports facilities into Singapore’s largest arts enclave. This makes the Artventure meaningful not only as a recreational activity but also as a way to understand the place’s layered history.

Green Spaces and Community Corners
One of the most enjoyable aspects of Goodman Arts Centre is its garden-like environment. The stamp rally naturally brings visitors past landscaped courtyards, mature trees, open lawns and quieter green pockets such as the community garden.

These spaces soften the campus and create a relaxing contrast to the studios, rehearsal rooms and performance venues. They also show how Goodman Arts Centre blends art, nature and community into one cohesive environment.

Redeeming the Stamp Rally Reward
After collecting all six stamps, participants can complete the short survey using the QR code on the stamp card. They can then proceed to the Security Counter at Block J to redeem a memento of their visit.

Visitors may choose between a Goodman Arts Centre sticker sheet or a tote bag, subject to availability. The sticker sheet features colourful illustrations inspired by the Artventure experience, making it a fun keepsake after completing the trail.

A Self-Guided Tour To Appreciate The Campus
Goodman Arts Centre Artventure is more than a simple stamp rally. It is a thoughtful self-guided tour that encourages visitors to slow down, explore and appreciate the campus through art, architecture, history and nature.

By linking stamp stations with public artworks, heritage buildings, green spaces and creative studios, the experience turns Goodman Arts Centre into an engaging discovery trail. Whether you are visiting with family, exploring alone or looking for a relaxed arts-related weekend activity, the Artventure offers a rewarding way to experience one of Singapore’s most distinctive creative enclaves.
