At Amberwood at Holland, the facilities have been conceived as more than a collection of amenities. They form part of a larger architectural and landscape experience—one that moves from arrival to recreation, from activity to restoration, and from built spaces into nature.
The design vision described by the project’s architects is rooted in quiet luxury and nature, drawing on Nordic architecture to create a wellness-led sanctuary through the careful orchestration of light, materials and space. That philosophy becomes particularly apparent when you first see the facilities.
Rather than concentrating everything on a conventional condominium pool deck, Amberwood uses changes in level, water, landscape and architecture to create a sequence of distinct experiences. Pools occupy different elevations; social spaces are tucked beneath the arrival level; wellness facilities retreat into greenery. The result is an environment intended to be discovered gradually.
An Arrival Designed As An Experience
The journey begins at the Arrival Plaza, conceived as a ceremonial gateway rather than simply a drop-off point. A broad sheltered canopy, stone surfaces, landscaping and contemporary architecture establish a sense of occasion, while the composition remains deliberately restrained and calm.

More is happening beneath the surface.
Below the Arrival Plaza sits the Function Studio, on the same level as the Welcoming Water Terrace. Expansive glazing connects the studio visually to the water outside, creating an intimate setting for celebrations, gatherings and residents’ social occasions. The relationship between these spaces gives the arrival precinct an unusual vertical dimension: a grand threshold above and a quieter communal environment below.
This layering is a recurring idea throughout Amberwood. The architect’s plans distribute facilities across an upper deck, lower deck and mezzanine rather than treating the recreational landscape as one flat plane. The upper deck accommodates facilities including the lap pool, Culinary Pavilion and Play Wood; the lower deck includes the Bath House, Gourmet Pavilion and Fitness Studio; while the Function Studio and Explorers’ Studio occupy the mezzanine.
It gives the development a quality closer to a landscaped resort: different destinations reveal themselves as residents move through it.

Following Water Into The Landscape
From the arrival precinct, the Welcoming Water Terrace begins another journey.
Cascading water, stone terraces and planting lead upwards towards the Discovery Pool and Lakeside Pool. Rather than functioning simply as circulation, the route has been designed as an experience in itself. Moving water provides sound and animation, while pathways, illuminated steps, mature trees and layered planting establish a calmer transition away from the entrance.
Here, the Nordic influence becomes especially legible. The material palette references stone, tall pine forest, filtered natural light, frameless glass and “crystal lake” water. These aren’t merely decorative cues. Together, they establish the visual language connecting architecture and landscape throughout the facilities.
A long pine-tree view corridor is also incorporated into the planning, reinforcing the idea that greenery is something to look through and move alongside rather than simply landscaping placed around buildings.

A Landscape Built Around Water
Water becomes the organising element of much of Amberwood’s recreational environment.
At the centre are two complementary experiences: the elevated Hilltop Pool and the Leisure Pool below. Their vertical relationship creates an aquatic landscape on different levels instead of a single continuous pool deck. As residents move between them, the perspective changes—at one moment looking across water and treetops, at another finding themselves closer to the gardens and poolside activity.

The 50-metre Hilltop Lap Pool is the more purposeful of these spaces. Raised above the facilities below, it provides separation from the more leisurely activity elsewhere and creates a long visual axis framed by residential architecture, greenery and sky.

Elsewhere, the Lakeside Pool adopts a gentler character. Mature trees, cascading foliage and landscaped poolside retreats create a setting intended as much for lingering as swimming. The nearby Fitness Studio overlooks the pool, keeping exercise visually connected to water and greenery rather than enclosed from them.

With seven pools across the development, including the Hilltop Pool, Lakeside Pool and Discovery Pool, Amberwood offers a diverse range of aquatic experiences. More distinctive, however, is how each pool is thoughtfully integrated into the architecture and landscape, creating a continuous connection between water, greenery, and the built environment.

The Bath House: Wellness As A Journey
Perhaps the clearest expression of Amberwood’s wellness philosophy is the Amberwood Bath House.
Positioned within greenery, it has been conceived as a retreat where architecture, water and nature converge. Its concept is organised around three elemental experiences—heat, water and light—expressed through the Thermal Bath, Outdoor Bath and Red Light Wellness facility. The architect describes these respectively as opportunities to restore through heat, reconnect with nature, and heal and energise.
The Thermal Bath introduces warmth and a gentle rain-shower experience to encourage relaxation, while the Outdoor Bath opens the experience towards greenery and fresh air. A dedicated seating area alongside it creates a place to stay after bathing, rather than immediately returning to the busier recreational areas.
Materiality reinforces the concept. Stone surfaces and filtered, forest-like lighting give these spaces a tactile, sheltered character.

The Red Light Wellness facility adds a notably contemporary dimension. Amberwood will be the first condominium to integrate red-light wellness as a dedicated resident facility. It sits alongside the more elemental experiences of warm water, rain and landscape, creating an interesting juxtaposition between technology-led wellness and nature-led restoration.

Quiet Luxury Rather Than Spectacle
Taken individually, Amberwood at Holland offers many of the facilities expected of a contemporary luxury development: pools, fitness spaces, function rooms and landscaped retreats. What distinguishes the concept is the effort to make them read as parts of one environment.
The architectural framework emphasises a Nordic-inspired aesthetic, privacy, subtle minimalism and seamless organic living, with landscaped gardens intended to connect naturally towards Holland Green Linear Park and the surrounding park network.

The interior design philosophy follows a similar direction. Its overarching statement, “Sanctuary in Stillness,” draws on Nordic landscapes and resort living, using weathered stone, soft illumination, materiality and atmosphere to create spaces characterised by calm.
That may ultimately be the most useful way to understand the facilities at Amberwood at Holland.
They are not conceived as isolated attractions to be ticked off on an amenity list. The Arrival Plaza flows into the Function Studio and Water Terrace; the Water Terrace leads towards the pools; fitness overlooks the water; elevated swimming spaces sit above more leisurely ones; and the Bath House withdraws into greenery for a different rhythm altogether.
Together, these spaces highlight a residential landscape designed around progression—arrival, discovery, movement, leisure and restoration. The facilities become part of the architecture of everyday life, with water, greenery, stone and light providing the common thread.
For a first look at Amberwood at Holland, perhaps its most distinctive proposition is a home where the luxury is not simply in having more facilities, but in how thoughtfully those facilities have been turned into places.
